Our Registration & Refunds Policy / Terms and Conditions

Registration

1-2-1 / 2-2-1 SESSIONS

  1. Bookings to be made via our online booking system Swim for Tri.
  2. Payment is required at time of booking to secure your booking. We accept most major forms of credit card.
  3. Once payment has been processed you will receive confirmation receipt of your booking.

COURSE / WORKSHOP

  1. Bookings to be made via our online booking system Swim for Tri.
  2. Payment is required at time of registration to secure your place. We accept most major forms of credit card.
  3. Once payment has been processed you will receive confirmation receipt of your booking.
  4. Please check the requirement of the course you are registering on. If you are unsure of the suitability of a course or the course dates, please contact bookings BEFORE proceeding.
  5. It is your responsibility to book onto the correct course for your standard. SFT will not be responsible if you do not read the requirements of the course or the dates that are on the SFT website.

Cancellations, Changes & Refunds

1-2-1 / 2-2-1 SESSIONS

  1. 24 hours cancellation notice is required to change or cancel a 1-2-1 / 2-2-1 session. You will then have 30 days to rebook and take this session.
  2. Full price will be charged at time of booking – This will act as your cancellation fee should you not give 24 hours notice or if you fail to attend your appointment.
  3. If a block booking is made and cancelled with sessions remaining, full charge will be made for sessions taken and an admin fee of £20 will be subtracted from a refund.
  4. If a booking is paid for and no sessions are taken, an admin fee of £20 will be subtracted from a refund.
  5. There is a time limit to taking your sessions, the following apply:
    1. 1 x 45 minute session = 1 month from your purchase date.
    2. 5 x 45 minute session = 5 months from your purchase date.
    3. 10 x 45 minute sessions = 10 months from your purchase date.
    4. 20 x 45 minute sessions = 20 months from your purchase date.

TECHNICAL AND FITNESS COURSES / WORKSHOP

  1. SFT will offer a full refund if you decide to cancel within 7 days of registering, as long as this date is not less than 14 days before the course / workshop.
  2. You can request to transfer to an alternative course / workshop. The course must be within a year of the original course date. Please read sections (a) (b) and (c) below as charges apply. (This does not apply to OPENWATER courses. In this case all sessions must be taken in the same year of purchase.)
  3. It is your responsibility to book onto the correct course for your standard. SFT will not be responsible if you do not read the requirements or the dates that are on the SFT website. If this does happen, SFT will try to rearrange the course for you but will not guarantee a place if the course you actually require is full. Please read section (d) below.

The following fees apply:

  1. if you make this request at least 14 days prior to commencement of the course / workshop – your full credit will transfer and you will be required to pay a £20 administration fee.
  2. if you make this request fewer than 14 days (but 7 or more days) prior to commencement of the course / workshop – 50% of your credit will be transferred and 50% will be forfeited.
  3. if 6 days or less notice, you will forfeit your place on course / workshop.
  4. if you have booked onto the wrong course, SFT will try to reschedule for you but will not guarantee a place on the actual course you require. If there is no option to move the course, then no refund will be offered.

Once the course has commenced the sale is final and NO refund or transfers can be requested.

SFT reserves the right to cancel any course due to insufficient enrolment. In this case we will offer to transfer you or offer a full refund.

OPEN WATER SESSIONS

  1. 24 hours cancellation notice is required to change or cancel a fitness or skills open water session. You will then have 30 days to rebook and take this session.
  2. Full price will be charged at time of booking – This will act as your cancellation fee should you not give 24 hours notice or if you fail to attend your swim.
  3. All sessions booked must be taken in the same year. Sessions will NOT be transferred to future years. Sessions are NOT transferable to somebody else.
  4. Block bookings, if you wish to cancel part way through a block booking you will be charged full price for the swims attended and you will be charged a £20 admin fee.
